Tree detection/cover

Trained with lidar and GaoFen high resolution images. Trees are mapped as gaussians at 3-m from GaoFen-1, PlanetScope, Landsat and Sentinel-2. The heatmap is used as mask for all other products.

Canopy height

Trained with airborne lidar. Canopy height is predicted from Sentinel-2, PlanetScope, and Landsat at 3-m. Uses the tree detection as mask.

Aboveground biomass

Converted from canopy height using field plot data at 30-m resolution.

Forest classification

Tree detection is classified into contiguous forests, trees outside forests, and forest gaps. Can also be used as binary tree/no-tree mask.
